Purpose: |
The purpose of
the project is to lay the foundation for the
introduction of efficient processes for all
types of commerce (turnover ca SEK 10
thousand million) within the VGR enterprise.
The project covers purchasing goods and
services, both internally and externally
between the different units. |

Implementation: |
Through the
use of interviews and working groups,
Visuera has produced process models for the
As-Is model and the To-Be model. A lot
of the work has been focused on calculating
the benefit effects for the time which can
be saved when a To-Be model has been
implemented. |

Result: |
The result of
the assignment is detailed process models
where the use of coordinated IT system and
all information flows are described. The
process models also show how much time can
be saved when the To-Be model has been
implemented. |

The Anna
project |
|
Purpose: |
The Anna
project is a joint, innovative development
whose goal is to provide the municipalities'
care enterprises with open and modern IT
system. |

Implementation: |
Visuera has
applied the Visuera method to drive
enterprise development for municipal care
with the social services for five
municipalities in Stockholm. |
|
Result: |
The result is
a coherent process description which is used
when purchasing IT system for the
enterprise. The process description includes
areas managed by the authorities including
senior citizen care, special needs,
individual and family care as well as
municipal healthcare. Contributions from
both the private and public sectors are also
included in the process description. The
work done to propose a To-Be model and
make concrete and detailed how IT system best supports the enterprise is unique in
Sweden. Continued management of this process
description offers great national
co-ordination possibilities for social care
enterprise over municipal borders. |

Project

The Sales-,
Supply chain-, Finance- and Production
process. |
|
Purpose: |
For the Akzo
Nobel company, Eka Chemical, Visuera has
developed enterprise processes for supply
chain, production, finance, product and
materials as well as sales. |
|
Implementation: |
The work was
carried out as part of the plan for a
centralized, European supply chain
organization and at the same time purchase
new IT system for the enterprise.
The purpose of process mapping was to define
the enterprise processes for a new
organization and also function as
requirements and basis when purchasing. |
|
Result: |
The result of
our collaboration was the delivery of an SAP
R/3 system by Cap Gemini. The process maps
were used to evaluate suppliers when
supplying training and implementing the new
enterprise processes in conjunction with the
implementation of the system. |

Vita Nova
(research project) |
|
Purpose: |
The purpose of
this project was to develop and test a
process-orientated IT-architecture within
the home-based care chain for bedsores,
combined with tools to enable mobility for
the IT system required in the workplace.
The goal, in the long run, is to increase
the quality, effectiveness and security of
the care provided to the benefit of
patients, relatives, healthcare providers and other
healthcare stakeholders. |

Implementation: |
The
implementation and development of the system
was based on an extensive study of the
enterprise at all user organizations -
municipalities, county healthcare and
primary healthcare. Great emphasis has been
placed on creating user-friendly and
intuitive IT system for both the user
interface and process support. The
development of screen-shots was done
interactively over time with the help of
active participation of representatives from
the enterprise. The project was financed by VINNOVA. The University of Skövde received
the grant and was responsible for project
management. |

Result: |
The result of
the project is a system delivered and in
production, developed with the help of the
process agent Visuera Process Manager. |

Patient
administration (PAS) |
|
Purpose: |
There is a
need to simplify the administrative patient
process for healthcare enterprises and also
improve logistics. |
|
Implementation: |
A survey of
patient administration and which functions
are or are not available, as well as how the
different enterprises want administration to
work was carried out. The result of the
survey shall be the basis for the
development of joint county council PAS
functions. |

Result: |
The project
delivered a description of the
As-Is model
and the To-Be model within patient
administration. The
To-Be model describes the
required improvements for a more efficient
work process in the future. The result
shall, if possible, provide decision
guidance for future work on IT system for
the county council's requirements and
functions regarding patient administration. |

Salary
administration |
|
Purpose: |
The salary
administration within VGR is undergoing
consolidation. In conjunction with an
upgrade of the IT system, Palett,
and with the aim to co-ordinate and make
more efficient this enterprise and
associated IT system, a review from a
process perspective is to be carried out. |

Implementation: |
A mapping of
the processes has been carried out in all
administrations within the county council
and the connection between activities and IT
has been clearly documented. |
|
Result: |
The result is
comprised of descriptions of the
As-Is models and the To-Be models and an efficacy description
of the salary process. The
To-Be model is
the basis for requirements from the current
supplier of IT system, including planned
upgrades, but also requirements for new
development. In addition to the process
mapping, a proposal was delivered to the
organization for joint, regional salary
administration center and joint management
of the enterprise and associated IT system. |
